Isha & Taraweeh times on the last 10 days of Ramadhan 2018
On 5 June 2018 onward, Isha and taraweeh prayers start at 8:30 PM.
The day of Ied al Fitr 2018
Narrated from Ibn Umar the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned about Ramadhan and showed His hands and said: “(Days in) a month is this, this, and this (while showing His ten fingers twice, and on the third He folded His thumb). Therefore (start) fast upon seeing (the moon), and break your fast upon seeing (the new moon). And if (the new moon) obscured from you then count (the day of the month) to 30 days”… [sunnah Muslim]
Based on the above sunnah, Baitussalam Mosque will announce Ied al Fitr after sighting the new crescent moon on 14 June 2018 before start of taraweeh. If the moon is sighted then Ied al Fitr is on Friday 15 June 2018, if not sighted then Ramadhan 2018 is performed for 30 days and Ied al Fitr is on Saturday 16 June 2018.
Praying time for Ied al Fitr 2018
